Search & Rescue International

WHO WE ARE

Based in Oklahoma, we are simply a Christian non-denominational custodian of financial resources to partnering missionary locations in Asia and South Asia.

WHAT WE DO

Provide resources to three current missionary outposts, in India, Cambodia and Japan, with the concentration being:

1. Spreading the Message of Salvation Through Jesus Christ

Our team of missionaries, some native to their country and one who has come from the US, preach the “good news” from rural villages in India and Cambodia to students enrolled at Ibaraki Christian University in Tokyo to some of the world’s largest cities. Presently, less than 3% are of the Christian faith in India, and approximately 12% in other countries in Asia.

2. Water Baptism for every Believer Who Confesses Jesus as the Son of God

In pools, ponds, streams and lakes, approximately 200-300 people are immersed in water every month as a declaration of their faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

3. Help Foster and Train Disciples of Jesus Christ

Bibles are distributed, as money allows, and disciples are made through the teaching and training of the more mature disciples who are gifted in teaching/preaching and evangelism. In many of the Indian villages, the preachers and teachers, who have other career/jobs, are the ones providing and leading in the churches' spiritual formation.

4. Provide a Home for as Many Homeless Children as Possible

Currently, there are approximately 100 children who have been rescued from a life on the streets and given food, clothing, shelter, medical attention, dental help, basic life skills training, and supplies for education. More importantly, they are loved and given the security of a home.

5. Care for the Old

Certainly the elderly people are marginalized in some of these locations …. shelter, food, medical help and work skills (as a means to earn a living) are provided.

Testimonies of those who have visited the state of Andhra Pradesh, India

“Search and Rescue International left a deep impact on my life that forever reshaped its trajectory. The holistic rescue and recovery programs that are confronting the systematic deprivation is not only to be commended but supported. Sudhakar, a modern day Apostle Paul, knows the land, knows the need, and knows the solution--he just needs the support of his brothers and sisters in Christ across the world.”

Jordan Cranfield (Pastor at NorthPlace Church in Dallas, Texas)

“I was privileged to visit India and see first-hand the work being done in Andhra Pradesh by Sudhakar Rao and his wife Nirmala, together with his team of preachers serving with Team India. I was impressed with their devotion to their work and especially how much they are accomplishing with the funds made available; providing care for orphans, and the elderly, and sharing the good news in remote locations.”

Paul Brazle (Evangelist/Missionary in Antwerp, Belgium)

“Sudhakar is truly accomplishing God’s work. The orphanage is not just an outreach for spreading the gospel to the kids they take in (and raise) but it’s an outreach to the community. He and his family face many challenges but they are relentless in their fulfillment of taking care of those that cannot take care of themselves.”
