  • Is Search and Rescue International a US government recognized 501(c)3 organization?

    Yes, and have been since 2015.

  • Is my donation taxable even if I give by credit card?

    Yes, but we are charged anywhere between 2 ½%-3 ½%. So, some of your donation goes toward the credit card transaction fee. 

  • Will I get an itemized listing of my donations at the beginning of the following year?

    Yes, those are mailed out at the end of January the following year.

  • Can I correspond with the missionaries?

    Absolutely, because of persecution in some areas, we do not place their private information on the website. You can request a password to the “Members Only” tab. 

  • How much of my money actually goes to the missionaries?

    Depending on how you pay, anywhere between 93%-99% goes directly to the missionary. Factored into that is other administrative costs.

  • Can I get specific information on a monthly or quarterly basis of the work being done?

    Yes, we send out a monthly “vital statistics” report on the work in India. This can be found in the “Member Only” tab. We will get you an ID and Password at your request.

  • Can I speak to someone on the board?

    Yes, our email addresses are on our bio page, and just drop us an email with your phone number and we’ll give you a call.
